Andreas’s Bio:

Andreas Strebel is a Senior Program Manager based in the Zurich office, Switzerland. He has over ten years of experience in the Unified Communications field during which he has worked on Client as well as Server products for the Telecommunications and Enterprise sectors.

Prior to joining Unify2, Andreas was a Program Manager on the Lync Server team at Microsoft, focusing on voice applications. Over the five years in the Zurich Development Center Andreas worked on the Call Park, Response Group and Dial-In Conferencing applications in addition to the Attendant Console. Andreas was also the chapter lead of the Enterprise Voice chapter in the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Resource Kit book.

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2005, Andreas worked as a Software Engineer for Media-Streams, Cisco, Dynamicsoft, the IBM Zurich Research Lab and Lucent Technologies.

He holds a Master's degree in Communication Systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne (EPFL) and Eurecom Institute, Sophia-Antipolis.
